Healtu Requirement for all schools
Health requirement and immunization process are difined by State of Hawaii. All student who would like to enter public or private school have to meet this procedure.
Immunization
All student who would like to enter any schools in hawaii, has to have all immunization as listed.
TB Test
- Test date should be within 30 days from entering date to school.
- TB test result is effective for one year. You have to have another test after expiration.
- If you are away from US more than 30 days, you should have another test again..
- TB Test has to be performed US licenced physician in Hawaii.or Hawaii State Department of Health.
Health Exam
- Exam date should be within one year from entering date to school.
- Exam has to be performed US licenced physician in Hawaii.

How to
- Make an appointment to local doctors.
- Original immunization record should be presented as necessary. Some doctor has bilingual staffs.
Otherwise, English translation should be prepared in your home country.. - Having TB Test, missing immunization shots and health checks.
- Re-visit doctor for TB reading between 48 - 72 hours.
Time you should expect
- TB result will take more than 48 hours.
- Minimum three working days required to start school.
- Mor time will be required if TB result was positive or you need more shots.
